Our Story
The name Temali comes from a blend of tradition and vision — inspired by the Swahili words for "foundation" (msingi) and "journey" (safari). Founded by Tanzanian adventurers and nature lovers, Temali Safaris was created not just to take people on safaris, but to connect travelers with the soul of Tanzania — its people, its wildlife, and its untamed beauty. What started as a dream in the back of a Land Cruiser has grown into a trusted travel brand known for personalized service, ethical travel, and immersive experiences. Our founders, born and raised near the great plains of the Serengeti and the slopes of Mt. Meru, grew up watching elephants roam free and hearing Maasai stories by the fire. Now, they share that magic with the world.
